|A rilE SUPERIOR EXPRESS Thursday, March 22, 1973 By Mrs. Ed Mueller Mr. and Mrs. Jim Keith and Mr. and Mrs. George Cowsky visited Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Orville Grum- mere. Mr. and Mrs. Fredo Bergman spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bergman and Greg of O'Neill, Neb. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Baker and Jason and Mr. and Mrs. LendeU Meyer and Mark spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Meyer. For Sunday dinner Mrs. Gordon Meyer and daughters joined them. They helped Nancy Baker and Shron Meyer celebrate their birth- days. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mueller visited Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mueller. Miss Ellen Jensen spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Orville Grummert. Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grummert, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Warneking, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schiermeyer, Mr. and Mrs. John Grummert, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Schiermeyer, Mrs. Dora Hashage and John Schierrneyer visited in the Grummert home to help Mrs. Grummert and Miss Jensen celebrate their birthdays. Mr. and Mrs. Eldrick Grummert visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carpenter. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schleufer visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Meyer. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Woods and Wayne McClure visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mumma. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mueiler were Sunday lunch guests of Ruth and Waldon Rathbun. Leslie Swigart and Don of North Platte were Friday supper and overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Grum- inert. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Meyer, Jean and Joan also visited with them Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hartman, jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Williams, Stephen and Donald @Oa4Q were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. Rodber Shaw and their granddaughter, Slephanie Shaw, visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Meyer. Michael Toy and Gary S!ewart of the Asbury College of Wilmore, Ky., were Wednesday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mumma. Mrs. Carolyn Rouse of Bealrice and Mrs. Fern Rouuse visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Shambaugh at Guide Rock. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Petz were Sunday supper guests of Mrs. Margaret Grummert and Alfred. Mrs. Fred Schiermeyer visited Friday afternoon with Mrs. Fred Warneking. Mrs. Freda Hamel visited Sunday evening with Mrs. Fern Rouse. Carl Washington and Oscar Townsend called on Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mumma Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schier- meyer visited March I0 with Mr. and Mrs. John Vrana. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grummert. Mrs. Fern Rouse was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weekly. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Meyer and family visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grueber and family. Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Newhouse of Wichita were Monday and Tuesday house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kelth. Tuesday evening Mr. and Mankalo. Mrs. Jim Keith were among supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Gharring. Carl Kieth and sons of Wichita visited over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Kcith. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Keith, Mr. and Mrs. George Cowsky and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Meyer surprised Mr. and Mrs. Glen Oltmans by taking supper in Sunday evening to help them celebrate their wedding an- niversary. A FRESHMAN from Superior majoring in pre- veterinary science at the University of Nebraska.Lincoln is one of four students who has received a $450 scholarship from lhe Moorman Manufacturing Co. Daryl Wilton is shown at a recogntion dinner in Lincoln, sponsored by Moorman, visiting with Melvin Kubik of Emerson, district sales manager for the firm. Wilton was active in a number of high school organizations before enrolling in the NU College of Agriculture. He was a member of 4-H, FFA and National Honor Society.
