Superior's eighth grade track team finished first in the Mid- Nebraska conference track meet and the seventh grade team finished third in the meet. In the eighth grade division, Superior, with 64 points, was followed by Grand Island Northwest and Geneva with 47 points, Hastings St. Cecilia with 39, Adams Central with 25, and Grand Island Central Catholic and Sandy Creek, who each had 17. The seventh grade order was changed somewhat as Adams Central topped the team standings with 84 points. St. Cecilia was second with 36 and Superior was third with 35.
