He was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Jewell County to Cecil and Nora (McGraw) Lovewell. He worked for 41 years as a service technician for the telephone company. He is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; son, Robert of Columbus, Neb.; daughters, Nancy Stramel of Noel, Me., and Karen Sweet of Franklin, Neb.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ramona Rees of Lincoln, Ken. His funeral was Saturday at Simmons-Rentschler Mortuary in Smith Center with Jim Germer, P.M.A., officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center. Daniel McMillen Daniel A McMillen, 53, the son of Darlene Fuller Brumbaugh and Will- iam Edward McMillen, Sr., was born March 6, 1961, in Sterling, Colo. He died last Sunday at his home in Inavale, following a year-long battle with can- cer. A longtime resident of WeSster County, he grew up and received his education at the Guide Rock schools.
