Mr. and Mrs. Dennk Stone and Jeff, Sabetha, were Sunday morning visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Clare Schuster. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dye and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Powers, Omaha, visited them Saturday af- ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Lemke, Blue Hill, Mrs. Darrel Hyde, Dianna, Sheila, and Terry, Glemm Roe and Carlita Ellis were Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kimmlnau, Stanley, Susan and David. Mr. and Mrs. Gaff Hudiburgh, Lama McCutcheon and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hudiburgh left Thursday for Yuma, Colo., whei'e they attended the funeral of Fred Kohlmeier, a cousin of the men. They returned home Friday evening. Mrs. Louie Hasemeyer, jr, Rosemarie, Rosemary and Sherry called on Irene Keeling Saturday. Della Roe attended a birthday party at the home of Becky Roe, Superior, Friday afternoon to honor Mrs. Bill Roe, Hardy, on her birthday. Janico Hasemeyer attended a FHA meeting at the home of Sonia Schmidt, Superior, Monday evening. Scan Little, son of Pastor and of Harry Blackstone, was Mrs. Gene Little, started to kindergarten in the Burr Oak Schools Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schuster, Kelli, Matthew and Meggin visited with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brahmsteadt and family, York, and Mr. and Mrs. William Cool, Tonya and Jerry, McCool Junction, Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dillon and Mrs. Guy Allington were callers the past week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louie Haserneyer, jr., and family. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Roe, John and Angela visited her mother, Mrs. Ernest Kroeger, Byron, Sunday afternon. Howard Blackstone, brother dismissed from the Jewell County Hospital, Mankato, Saturday and returned to his home in Sqperior . Mr. and Mrs. Mitchie Woerner and Michelle went to Grand Island Tuesday evening to meet an exchange student from Mexico City, Lnis Aguflar. Michelle and Luis will attend junior high at the Esbon White Rock School. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Day, Lincoln, were Sunday and Monday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hiatt. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dye hosted a Clark farnfly reunion at their home Labor Day weekend. Guests attending were Lavina Clark, Juniata, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Powers, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Rebers~ and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bant and son, Omaha, David Powers, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Koch and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark, Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dye, Jackie and Rabble, Beatrice, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hanna, Stephanie, Jeremy and Brady, Riley. Thursday, September 8, 1983THE SUPERIOR EXPRESS 5B @ Selma Ferguson, Nuckolls County Clerk, has notified all car dealerships and insurance companies of changes in the state and the mtablishment of a salvalge certificate of title. In an effort to make interstate transportation of stolen vehicles more difficult, the owner of the vehicle must have the iden- tification of the vehicle checked by the County Sheriffs office before a Nebraska certificate of title will be issued. The cost for this inspection has been set at $I0. The new law also requires insurance companies to receive the title on a car which the company has paid a total loss settlement and then obtain a salvage certificate of title' belore the company can assign ownership to any other party.
