In spite of a rainy, snowy evening there was a large crowd in attendance. Margaret and Stcphanie Sire- onion, Tucson, Ariz., visited their aunt and cousin, Irene Davidson and Bob, Friday morning. They were enroute home alter attending a funeral for a 12-year-old Campbell, Neb, boy who died in an auger accident. Mr and Mrs. Harold Both- well called on Fern Hale and lla er Sunday afternoon. David Bothwell, Mankato, visit- ed his parents Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Me.trier and Raymond Carton went to Hastings Thursday where Mr. Mettler consulted a doctor. The Mcttlcrs were Saturday supper and overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs Raymond Stratman and Laurcc Mettler, Clay Center, Neb. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Sorrell visited Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Rothchild Tuesday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Rothchild were Wednesday afternoon callers. Mr. and Mrs. Delrnar Rothchild, Doyle Rothchild and Shirley Crane visited them Sunday af- tcrnoon. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jens- by accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Copas to Chester Friday to attend the observance of the 40th anniversary of the Foote Cafe. Saturday afternoon the Jcnsbys visited Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Krieger, Nelson. Mr. Krieger was home for the week- end from the Lincoln Veterans Hospital. Enroute home the Jensbys stopped at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schleufer for the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bothwell and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Metder called on Mr. and Mrs. Jcnsby Friday af- ternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Claernce Jens- by went to church in Belleville Sunday morning with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jensby and then ate dinner at a eafe to celebrate Jim's birthday. Avis Ross joined file Valley View Club members, Wilma Rathbun, Irene Wood, Phyllis Ross, Joan Ross, Ortha Lcoce, DeAnn Hutchinson and Twilla Frericha, to Harvard and Hast- ings Friday. They visited an os- trich farm and the museum. Joy Cripsin joined them for dinner and toured the museum with them. Joan Diamond visited her cousin. Jennie Ben, and her daughters, Jeanne Marsh and Sharon and Butch Kent, who were camped at Lovewell Lake Monday and Tuesday. Mr and Mrs. Dallas Diamond and Rus- sell Thomas had coffee with them Tuesday morning. They called on Mr. and Mrs. Dale Taylor, Concordia, Wednesday evening. Mrs. Diamond had breakfast with Mrs. Brydcn Thursday morning in Concordia.
